Double Wahala For Okorocha As High Court Stops INEC From Issuing Certificate Of Return To Him

Despite attempts by Rochas Okorocha to regain his certificate of return, his effort has been met with a  disappointing failure as an Owerri high court stopped Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from issue a certificate of return to him.

The Suit with NO HOW/596/2019 was filed by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial candidate for Imo West Hon Jones Onyeriri against the INEC.

The presiding Judge, Justice E.F. Njemanze, ordered that the status quo be maintained until the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.

The motion on notice was adjourned to 5th of June 2019 for hearing.
