Nigerians React As INEC Sets To Decide On Gov Yari And 38 Other Candidate’s Fate

With the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)  to hold an emergency meeting today Over the Supreme court judgement on Zamfara state election, several Nigerians have described the actions as a waste of time and unnecessary.

This was disclosed in a statement by the INEC National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education, Festus Okoye.

Mr Okoye who revealed this while reacting to the supreme court ruling said the commission will inform the public of its decision on Monday. He said the meeting is for the body to determine the next course of action, adding that the decision of the commission will be communicated to the public on Monday.

Meanwhile,  Here are the reactions of Nigerians as follows.

That's impossible, Sir. No institution can overrule a judgment by the apex court in any judicial dispute. The Court declared the PDP winner and that stands. INEC is most likely doing this to harness apprehension before Monday. The never saw it coming.
