What Fani-Kayode Said About Buhari’s Second Term Inauguration
Former Minister of Culture and Tourism Femi Fani-Kayode has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of stealing the mandate of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The former minister was reacting to the swearing-in of Buhari and his running mate, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Eagle Square on Wednesday.
In a post on his Twitter page, Fani-Kayode stated that it should have been the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku‘s swearing-in.
He wrote: “Behold the old mandate has expired and a new one has begun.
“This should have been Atiku and PDP’s day but you shamelessly stole it.
“Evil has an expiry date and every cruel act shall attract divine retribution!”
