Gov Wike, PDP Senators-elect Set To Meet Ahead Inauguration

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State will today, Monday, meet with all 44 Senators-elect of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Naija News reports that this is coming as the 9th National Assembly is set for inauguration tomorrow, Tuesday.

The meeting which is scheduled to hold at the Rivers State Governor’s lodge is expected to cement the position of the main opposition party on who to support for principal officers of the legislature.

The Senators will thereafter proceed to the Apo residence of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, by 10 pm for a final meeting of the PDP Senators.
