Atiku Vs Buhari: APC, Buhari Begs Presidential Election Tribunal

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Muhammadu Buhari have asked the Presidential Election Tribunal to strike out the petition of Atiku Abubakar for being fundamentally defective.

The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Buhari winner of the February 23 Presidential Election.

The main opposition party alongside its presidential candidate, Atiku, are challenging the victory of Buhari at the tribunal.

NAN reports that Atiku and his party had, in their petition, which has INEC, Buhari and the APC as first to third respondents asked the tribunal to nullify Buhari’s election on the grounds of alleged malpractices and gross violation of Electoral Act 2010, as amended.
