Police Invite Timi Dakolo, Busola Over COZA Saga

An unknown individual is said to be impersonating Busola, celebrity photographer and wife of Timi Dakolo, on Twitter.

Naija News understands that Busola has been trending on social media after a video of her narrating how she was raped by Biodun Fatoyimbo, pastor of Common Wealth Zion Assembly (COZA).

The handle @busoladakolo was opened with the Celebrity’s picture with bio which reads: “Professional photographer., YFA alumna Follow my creative page @busoladakoloimages Founder, @skillskitchen A privileged wife and mother.”

The impersonator first tweeted a video of the interview while unsuspecting members of the public were directed to a site to follow developments on the issue.

As of the time, the report was filed, the tweet had over 1,000 retweets and 1,500 likes.

Hours later, the account asked those who had similar experiences with Fatoyinbo to reach out, assuring them that their identities would not be disclosed.

The tweet was later taken down but a similar one posted on Saturday morning read below

The account had 2,868 followers as of the time of filing this report.

In a move to alert Twitter users of the activities of the impostor, Busola’s husband took to Twitter on Saturday, announcing that his wife is not on the social network.

“Hello everyone,My wife busola Dakolo is not on twitter,” he tweeted.

Kadaria Ahmed, media personality, has reported the impostor to Twitter, demanding that the account be shut down.

“@Twitter this handle @busoladakolo is impersonating the real #BusolaDakolo kindly shut it down,” she tweeted.
