Rivers Guber: Gov. Wike Wins At The Tribunal

The petition filed by the African Action Congress and its governorship candidate, Biokpomabo Awara at the governorship election petitions tribunal sitting in Port Harcourt has been dismissed by the tribunal

Recall that the AAC candidate had challenged the victory of Governor Nyesom Wike and the Peoples Democratic Party.

The three-man panel led by Justice J.A Ojaiko dismissed the petition on technical grounds, that both the first and second petitioners abandoned their petitions.

The tribunal dismissed all applications filed on behalf of the AAC by Awara.

The tribunal also dismissed for incompetence another application for a pre-trial hearing.
