Transfer: Solskjaer Speaks On De Gea Signing A New Deal
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United head coach, believes David de Gea will agree to a new contract with the club.
The superstar keeper will be out of contract with the Red Devils next year, however, a report has it that the Spain international is set to sign a long-term deal worth about £350,000 per week.
Solskjaer, while speaking at a news conference on Tuesday, did not give full detail about De Gea’s future.
“Hopefully we can agree a new contract with David.”
“That will be up to the club and David to announce”.
De Gea joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has won Premier League title, an FA Cup, a League Cup and three Community Shields with the club.
