(Video): Abuja Airport Battles Heavy Flood, Cancels All Flight Activities
Following a heavy downpour at Abuja yesterday morning, the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, is currently flooded.
The flood has affected the front stretch of the arrival and departure area.
The development also affected flights activities as all morning flights to Abuja from most of the nation’s airports have been cancelled due to the bad weather.
We are not sure if this would move the government to carry out design adjustment to stop flood at the facility.
Recall that last December, President Muhammadu Buhari had approved and launched a new international terminal worth $490 million.
