Lille Want Super Eagles Attacker To Replace Arsenal-Bound Pepe
Ligue 1 outfit Lille are eyeing up a move for Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen to replace Nicolas Pepe who is set to move to Arsenal.
The Gunner have reportedly reached an €80m (£72m) agreement with Lille for Ivory Coast international winger.
BBC Sport reports that Arsenal will pay in instalments and an agreement over a five-year deal is expected to be reached in the next 24/48 hours.
Lille is willing to pay €14million in total for Osimhen – €12million upfront and €12million in add-ons, according to Foot Mercato.
The Super Eagles attacker scored 19 goals in 34 league appearances last season for Sporting Charleroi.
The 20-year-old was part of the Super Eagles squad that won bronze at this year’s Africa Cup Nations in Egypt.
