Fani-Kayode Gives Conditions For Meeting With Miyetti Allah, Others
Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has stated that there is no gain meeting with any Fulani group as long as they are still carrying guns.
Naija News recalls that Southern and Middle-belt leaders had snubbed a peace meeting with Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd) because he also invited Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN).
Fani-Kayode has been a vocal and strong critic of the killings perpetrated by suspected Fulani herdsmen, which are under MACBAN.
In a post on his Twitter page on Sunday, the chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stated that it is absurd to sit with “those with blood on their hands.”
Fani-Kayode wrote: “I don’t believe there is anything to be gained in talking to ANY Fulani group as long as they are carrying arms and killing our people.
“It is absurd and smacks of capitulation for anyone to sit with those with blood on their hands and talk peace whilst they occupy our land.
“How can there be peace or fellowship with the wicked, with the bloodthirsty, with the terrorist and with those that regard us as being nothing but sub-humans and members of the slave race?
“We have long passed that stage. We were NOT born to serve and they were NOT born to rule!”
