Arsenal Defender Agrees Deal With Bordeaux
Arsenal captain, Laurent Koscielny, has reportedly agreed on a three-year deal with Ligue 1 club Bordeaux.
According to ESPN, Koscielny arrived in the French city on Monday, after positive talks between the two clubs in London last week.
The 33-year-old had refused to go on tour in the United States with the Arsenal squad.
Koscielny joined Arsenal from Lorient in the summer 2010 for €10m and went on to make overn 300 appearances for the Gunners, winning three FA Cups.
The former French international is optimistic that Arsenal would find a final agreement with Bordeaux to let him return to France.
And the agreement was finalised late on Monday with both clubs agreeing on a €5 million transfer fee.
Koscielny will have a medical on Tuesday, before signing a three-year contract.
