President Buhari Mourns The Death Of Gov. Bello’s Stepmother

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sorrow over the death of Madam Rekiya Momoh Bello, the stepmother of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.

The spokesperson of the President, in a statement, stated that the Governor’s absence at the meeting of the Progressive Governors with President Buhari in Daura got the attention of the President who was informed of the death of the Governor’s stepmother.

The burial of Governor Bello’s stepmother made him stay back in his State.

The President expressed condolences to the family, the government and people of Kogi State over the irreparable loss.

“President Buhari wished peace for the departed soul and prayed to Allah to grant her bereaved families the strength to bear the loss”, the statement added.
