Naija News understands that the DSS operatives whisked away El-Zakzaky and his wife upon their arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
2. Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, Wife Arrive Nigeria From India
Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, leader of the proscribed Islamic Movement in Nigeria and his wife, Zeenat, have returned to Nigeria from India. Recall that the couple flew four days ago to India for medical treatment after being detained by the Nigerian security agency since 2015.

President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government has published in its Official Gazette the court order proscribing the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites. Naija News reports that the gazetting was done on Monday.

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shiites have accused Saudi Arabia of being behind its proscription by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. Naija News reports that the federal government on Tuesday published in its Official Gazette the court order proscribing the IMN.
8. FG Officially Bans IMN Activities Nationwide
The federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has officially proscribed the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) led by Ibrahim El-Zakzaky. Furthermore, all protests by the IMN group has been banned.
