Students Kidnapped On Abuja-Kaduna Highway

Three students of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria have been reported kidnapped on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway.

The students are said to be in their final year at the faculty of law of the University.

Naija News recalls the Abuja-Kaduna highway is a major flashpoint where kidnappers operate. In April, Mahmood Abubakar, chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), and his daughter were kidnapped on the road.

As at the time of filing this report, the police could not be reached for comment on the issue as the known number of Frank Mba, force spokesman, wasn’t connecting.
