Nigerians React To Protest Against Bobrisky
Over 500 Nigerian youths, yesterday on the streets in Abuja protested against what they described as moral decadence of Idris Okunneye popularly known as Bobrisky.
The protesters, under the aegis of National Youths Council of Nigeria, disowned Bobrisky while declaring their stand by the National Centre for Arts and Culture, National Council of Women Society, Christian Association of Nigeria and other organizations that had taken a stand against Bobrisky and his activities.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react to the protest. See reactions below:
This obviously sponsored protest is a sham, likely by NCAC boss in his quest of misplaced priorities
The leader couldn't read his address well & clearly has reading & diction challenges
Fools that should be protesting against mass unemployment are protesting against Bobrisky?

Bobrisky is more dangerous than bad government….

The people protesting again Bobrisky, well done oh. I hope after the protest, the serial killer in Port Harcourt will be found, I hope Boko haram will end, corruption will be radicated in the country and we’ll have better job opportunities for the youth

All the issues you listed have been plaguing Nigeria since the 1970s at the very least. Bobrisky's propagation of trans acceptability is a new development. https://t.co/9ipMKJskHy

How the fuck is Bobrisky an issue in our country ? What did he do ? Dare to be different ? Be unapologetic about her identity ? How the hell does that affect you or me or any other fucking person ? You should encourage your kids to identify as whoever they feel they really are ! https://t.co/X1Txto4W81

This is why we will forever remain stagnant as a country, cause we’re focused on the wrong things. People that are meant to be trying to hustle so that they can survive a useless government are wasting time on Bobrisky that doesn’t concern them in any way ! https://t.co/wWKeXDTatN

Really??? This is what they are protesting against out all they could protest against???…. I am in no way a Bobrisky fan… But this right here is misplaced priority https://t.co/yzBNZLPfeW

The person that led this Bobrisky lifestyle protest should be arrested and prosecuted😥
For disturbing the peace of the whole nation, and making more people irresponsible by bringing them to this show of shame, while they can even be sleeping if they do not have a job🤕 pic.twitter.com/T4w6iErFll

When you see protesters coming with placards and you suddenly find out it about Bobrisky.

I'm so happy about this protest against Bobrisky. With him gone, our economy will improve, corruption will disappear, police will stop collecting bribes, government will start doing their jobs, they'll stop killing girls in PH and medical school will stop being so hard 😩

If Unilag can invite MC Oluomo as a special guest for their programme that means they can invite Bobrisky pic.twitter.com/vuH8yynTLA

I think you guys should protest on things like this, not Bobrisky and I will be happy to join you.

Imagine what an NUT chairman is saying…clearly siding the despicable act by the teacher, but the lazy youths protesting bob'risky won't see this madness to protest @Efficacy12 pic.twitter.com/aki7U9HfeV

Apparently, this protest against bobrisky is staged or else the Police would have dismissed the protesters same way they dismissed the #RevolutionNow peaceful protest.
We need to make #RevolutionNow trend again because we need to be heard#RevolutionNow— GodfatherOB (@Godfather_ob) September 19, 2019
