Nigerians Make Fresh Demand From Sadiya Farouq, Buhari’s Alleged Wife To Be
Nigerians have taken to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to make various demands from Sadiya Farouq, President Muhammadu Buhari‘s alleged wife to be.
Naija News had reported earlier that Farouq, who is Nigeria’s Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, is in New York, promoting a UN campaign against poverty amidst rumour of a wedding with President Buhari.
This online news platform understands that Farouq, whose rumoured wedding to Buhari is scheduled for Friday, canvassed for active participation of citizens in ending poverty in a tweet on Friday.
“On October 17, join us as we #WalkOutPoverty. The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is commemorated to encourage active participation by all to respect the rights & dignity of people living in poverty.#WalkOutPoverty#EndPoverty#Children @ossap_sdgs,” the tweet read.

The minister’s tweet came at the time social media is awash with speculations that President Buhari is set to marry a second wife, with her name mentioned as the second wife in the picture.
A report monitored on PointBlankNews by Naija News, had quoted sources in Aso Rock, Nigeria’s Presidential Villa, to have revealed that President Buhari is planning to marry the minister.
The report quoted a source who spoke on condition of anonymity that Ms. Farouk is a close friend of President Buhari and also well-loved by the ‘cabals’ in the President’s “Next Level” government.
A few minutes after her tweet, Nigerians invaded the comment section of her post to ask various questions
Naija News captured some of the comments below…
