2023: Yahaya Bello Picks Date, Venue To Officially Declare Presidential Ambition

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of planning to create confusion during the Kogi State Governorship election.

Naija News reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had fixed November 16 for the governorship election.

Recall that the PDP had claimed the ruling APC, in collaboration with INEC, was planning to manipulate the electoral process.

Reacting in a statement on Friday, the Chairman, Publicity Committee of the Bello/Onoja Governorship Campaign Council, Kingsley Fanwo accused the PDP of spreading falsehood ahead of the election.

He said: “The PDP should deal with the blood on their hands as their primary became bloody as a result of the desperation of some people to get the ticket at all costs.

“The APC is campaigning hard to win the election and we do not believe in manipulation which is a known tradition of the PDP.

“We also have no reason to doubt the credibility of the security agencies to act fairly in protecting the sanctity of the ballot boxes.”

“Our strength is the governor who has performed excellently to the admiration of the people. The people have confidence in him to continue to impact their lives positively,” Fanwo added.
