Tottenham Hotspurs’ new manager, Jose Mourinho, has been declared as the second-highest-paid manager in football.
The former Manchester United boss signed a £15million-a-year contract with the North London side after the club sacked Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday.
According to Tutto Mercato, his new deal with the English Premier League side has taken him to number two on the list.
The Portuguese coach is behind Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, who signed a new two-year contract in 2018 worth £20m per season.
Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone is in third place and earns £13m-a-year.
