Super Eagles Now 31st In FIFA Rankings
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have made progress in the latest ranking released by the World football governing body, FIFA.
According to the November ranking released on the FIFA website, the Super Eagles are now ranked 31st in the World, moving up four spots from their previous position.
Nigeria’s male senior national football team garnered 1493 points as against 1481 points gotten in October.
On the African continent, the Eagles retain the third position behind Senegal and Tunisia who are placed 20th (1st in Africa) and 27th (2nd in Africa) with 1555 and 1506 points respectively.
Naija News reports within the period under review, the Eagles recorded a 2-1 win over the Benin Republic and another 4-2 win over Lesotho in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
