Messi Wins 2019 Ballon D’Or
Barcelona and Argentina striker, Lionel Messi won the men’s category of the 2019 Ballon D’Or held on Monday night at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, France.
He defeated Liverpool and Dutch defender, Virgil Van Dijk as well as his eternal rival, Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus and Portugal to clinch the coveted award.
