Finally! DSS Obeys Court Orders, Release Dasuki

Sambo Dasuki, the immediate-past National Security Adviser. has been released from the custody of the Department of State Services.

The ex-NSA’s lead counsel, Mr. Ahmed Raji (SAN), while confirming the release of Dasuki as at about 8.11pm today said, “He was released a few minutes ago.”

Dasuki has been in the DSS custody since December 29, 2015, despite a series of court orders issuing his release.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, had earlier today said he had directed the DSS to comply with the court order granting bail to Dasuki and the publisher of SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore.

Naija News reported earlier also that Sowore had been released.
