Reaction Trails Demolition Of Saraki’s Family Home (Pictures)
Mixed reactions have trailed the demolition of a former Kwara State Governor, Dr Olusola Saraki’s social welfare home (Ile Arugbo) for the aged in Ilorin.
Naija News recalls that governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq had earlier set up a panel to look into the ownership validity claim of the Sarakis. It concluded that the land was acquired illegally, and recommended it be demolished.
It was recalled that the building was demolished early today after security operatives dispersed protesters, including aged women within the complex.

Kwara takes over land occupied by Saraki’s family House, Ile Arugbo in Ilorin as the land was illegally allocated to a company called Asa Investments Ltd which paid nothing for the land and there is no record of any C of O for the allocation.
