Finally, Emeka Ihedioha Reacts To Supreme Court Judgment
Emeka Ihedioha, the sacked governor of Imo State, southeast Nigeria, says the Supreme Court judgment that declared Hope Uzodinma winner of the 2019 governorship election came to him as a “rude shock“.
Naija News had reported earlier that the Supreme court sacked Emeka Ihedioha as governor of Imo state and affirmed Uzodinma as the winner of the March 9 governorship election.
Oyo Governor, Seyi Makinde Clarifies What Amotekun Is All About
Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde has today declared that the Western Nigeria Security Network code-named Operation Amotekun was established in order to support security agencies’ works and bridge the gaps in the security of the geopolitical zone.
Makinde’s position was made against the backdrop of the statement credited to the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami, in which the Minister claimed the outfit was illegal.
