He’s back! McGregor Wrecks Cowboy … In 40 Seconds
The UFC 246 bout between Conor McGregor and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone has come to an end in Las Vegas. Conor McGregor knocked out his opponent after only 40 seconds of fighting.
In the first round of the match, the 31-year-old boxer who had been away from UFC bout for more than a year since he was defeated by Khabib Nurmagomedov destroyed Cerrone within seconds.
Immediately the bout started McGregor quickly attempted a straight left hand that missed as Cerrone ducked, as soon as the two separated McGregor blasted Cerrone with a huge head kick that buckled the veteran and sent him back into the cage.
The stunning head kick and left hand from McGregor left Cerrone on the ropes just in the first round and the referee called off the bout just when it was getting started.

After the fight, McGregor said: “I’m the first fighter in UFC history to secure a knockout victory at featherweight, lightweight and welterweight. I’m very, very happy. I’m very proud.
