Just In: CBN Holds First 2020 MPC Meeting
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is presently holding its first Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting for the year 2020.
Naija News understands that the meeting was initially scheduled to hold on Monday and Tuesday.
The Apex bank while confirming the commencement of the quarterly meeting through its Twitter handle revealed that the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, will be briefing the press at 2:15 pm (Nigerian time), Friday 24th January 2020, on the decisions of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC).

Meanwhile, in another development, the Governor of the central bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, President of the Dangote group and some other chief executive officers of leading financial institutions in Nigeria have been honoured at an award of the decade ceremony in Lagos.
The Apex bank and business leaders at the gathering assured Nigerians of better business services this year.
