Transfer: Cavani Speaks On Leaving PSG

Paris Saint-Germain striker, Edinson Cavani, has revealed that he will remain in the club amidst interest from Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.

According to L’Equipe, Cavani wants to remain with PSG as the January transfer window closes on Friday at 11 pm.

The Uruguay striker will be free to join any club during the summer transfer window because he will be a free agent.

Cavani had earlier revealed that he prefers to join Atletico Madrid, but the talks between the two teams did not go through.

The 32-year-old has started four games for PSG this season, having lost his place to Mauro Icardi who is on loan from Inter Milan.
