Just In: NFF Gives Yobo Fresh Super Eagles Appointment
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed former Everton defender, Joseph Yobo, as the new Super Eagles’ Assistant Coach.
Naija News reports that Yobo will be taking over from Imama Amapakobo who assumed the position after the sacking of Salisu Yusuf.
Recall that Salisu Yusuf, a former manager for Enyimba and Kano Pillars, was found guilty of receiving a bribe of up to $1000 to influence the call-up of players to the national team.
The NFF Ethics Committee sanctioned him with a fine of $5000 and a one-year ban from football-related activities.
