Nigerians React As Supreme Court Throws Out APC’s Case In Bayelsa
Nigerian Supreme Court has upheld the ruling that sacked David Lyon as the governor-elect of Bayelsa State.
Justice Sylvester Ngwuta, who led a seven-man panel of the apex court, after listening to the submissions of the counsels from both parties dismissed the case by APC and David Lyon for lack of merit.
It will be recalled the All Progressives Congress (APC) had approached the apex court for a review of its February 13, 2020 judgment which overturned its victory in the last governorship election in Bayelsa State.

What were they expecting, this was barely a formality. They is no way the judgment would have been overturned, because it could have set a negative precedence for other cases.

Good one. The only case that really needs to be looked into is the one of Imo State, but i know the court won't want to disgrace itself. So, they'll strike it out including the Atiku's case. As far as Tanko is the CJN, no justice will be done.
