Coronavirus: See List Of Countries In The World With Confirmed Cases
In the early hours of this morning, Friday 28, February 2020, Nigerians woke up to the news that the first case of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) had been discovered in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city.
The minister of health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, had confirmed the case in a statement issued, saying that the case involves an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and just returned from Milan, Italy on the 25th of February 2020.
Coronavirus emerged late last year in Wuhan, a city housing rough 11million people in China and has since then spread to other parts of the world.
