Boko Haram Leader Shekau Sends 'Strong Warning' To BBC, Journalists

The United States government has promised to give out a whooping sum of  $7m in reward, for anyone who has information that can lead to the arrest of the leader to the deadly terrorist sect (Boko-Haram) in Nigeria.

The Department made this known in a tweet posted by their official Twitter account. They also provided numbers to reach with any information anyone may have on the leader of the terrorist group.

According to the information gotten from the US State Department Rewards for Justice Program’s Twitter page, the bounty placed on  Abubakar Shekau, the Boko Haram leader will help to reduce or stop the menace of terrorism in Nigeria and the neighbouring countries.

 

Naija News understands that the bounty is the biggest placed on all the terrorists declared wanted by the United States government.

The US State Department also said that every government and every citizen has a stake in bringing terrorists to justice and in preventing acts of terrorism.
