Coronavirus: Guests Screened At Obasanjo’s 83rd Birthday Event

Guests attending the 83rd birthday event of Former President Olusegun Obasanjo are screened for any signs of fever before access into the venue of the event.

The measure is employed at the event of the former President to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, following the outbreak of the disease in Nigeria.

Recall that the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, confirmed the first case of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Lagos, last week Friday.

The birthday celebration held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, had in attendance, prominent people from all walks of life.

Health practitioners at the entrance of the event hall took time out to screen everyone one after the other with a thermometer.

After being certified free of any suspicious ailments, guests are given hand sanitizer as they join other wellwishers.
