President Buhari Sacks NIMASA Executive Directors As Jamoh Takes Charge
President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the present Executive Directors of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and appointed three new ones.
The sack of Rotimi Fasakin (Executive Director Operations) and Gambo Ahmed (Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services) is coming on the heels of the appointment of Dr. Bashir Jamoh as the new Director-General of the agency.
Authoritative sources at the Presidency informed SHIPS & PORTS that a former Speaker of the Delta State Assembly, Victor Ochei, will take over from Ahmed as the new Executive Director of Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services.
Naija News recalls that the President Buhari last week removed Dakuku Peterside as the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and replace him with Bashir Jamoh,
