Sanw-Olu Visit Explosion Site As He Speaks On Next Line Of Action

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy Femi Hamzat are presently at the site of the explosion for an on-the-spot assessment of the still-raging-fire that has rocked the Abule-Ado-Festac area of the state since yesterday.

Naija News Understands that the governor while speaking at the site of the inferno promised to give two billion naira to the affected victim of the explosion has he described as a visual war zone scene. He also promised to establish a committee which will be headed by the Lagos State deputy governor, Femi Hamzat.

This online news platforms recall that the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, had earlier advised residents in the area where an explosion occurred to make safety their priority, urging them to maintain a safe distance from the scene of the explosion and fire as the site is still live.

The governor also instructed the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) to immediately release personal safety equipment such as face and nose protection masks to be distributed to first responders, residents of the affected area and all safety workers at the ground zero.
