Please Run For President – Simi Begs Gov. Makinde

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has been advised by Nigerian female singer, Simi, to run for the position of Nigeria’s president.

Simi took to her social media account, Twitter precisely on Friday to commend the governor for his statement following a barrage of complaints and blast by Nigerians to Seyi Makinde over a recent rally led by him in the state.

Naija News understands that Makinde took to his twitter handle to apologize for hosting a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a mega rally which was witnessed by hundreds of people in Ibadan earlier in the week amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Responding to Makinde’s apology, Simi tweeted; “Please don’t change. Except for the better. Please run for president.”

“A Nigerian politician apologising for an error in judgement. incredible,” she said.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party was condemned by the All Progressives Congress on Wednesday for holding a rally in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, amid the outbreak of Coronavirus, Naija News report.
