COVID-19: Atiku Gives Federal Government N50m Relief Fund
Nigerians Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has given out at total sum of N50million as relief fund to fight the war against the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Atiku, in a press statement he personally signed and made available to Naija News said his contribution will help “form part of the stimulus package.”
However , Naija News recalls that the former PDP Presidential aspirant announced that his son tested positive to the deadly COVID -19 diseases.
Meanwhile, He also praised the Federal and State Governments for taking precautionary measures in containing the spread of the virus in the country.
Part of these, Atiku explained, include issuing stay at home orders, and shutting down non-essential markets and other places of mass gatherings, while also giving guidelines for social distancing.
