Coronavirus: Bashir Ahmad Debunks Report Claiming That President Buhari, Abba Kyari Have Travelled Out

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, has debunked the report that the President Muhammadu Buhari and his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, have been secretly flown out of the country for treatment.

Information spotted online has it that the President and Kyari have secretly left the country to treat themselves of Coronavirus.

Naija News had earlier reported that Abba Kyari tested positive to the virus while President Buhari was confirmed negative.

There were speculations that President Buhari tested positive to the dreaded disease but the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed debunked the claims.

Ahmad while reacting to the rumour noted that the report is not true.

He tweeted, “The voice note that President @MBuhari and Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari have been secretly flown out of the country is totally UNTRUE.”

“It was intentionally recorded to cause chaos and fear. This fake news was originated and being circulated by one @jacksonpbn.”
