COVID-19: World Reaction As British PM Boris Johnson Tests Positive
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has contracted the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
Naija News reports that the British PM made this known in a video published on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday afternoon.
PM Johnson said over the last 24 hours, he has developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus, adding that he is now self-isolating, but will continue to lead the British government’s response via video-conference.
The British Prime Minister tweeted: “Over the last 24 hours, I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.”I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.
“Together we will beat this. #StayHomeSaveLives,” he tweeted.
