The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, received briefings from the Minister of health, Osagie Ehanire and Chikwe Ihekweazu, director-general of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on the COVID-19 situation in the country.
This was confirmed to Naija News via a tweet from the presidency which showed the briefing took place at his official residence in the statehouse, Abuja.
As seen from the photos, safe distancing was also observed during the meeting.

Buhari’s latest appearance comes amidst rumours and speculations in certain quarters that the President is not feeling fine and has been secretly flown out of the country.
The presidency has constantly denied this assumption, maintaining that the President is hale and hearty.
A social commentator, Kayode Ogundamisi also shared a video of the President and official’s arrival for the meeting on Saturday.
