COVID-19: Fani-Kayode Reacts To US, France, Evacuating Citizens From Nigeria
The United States government has announced the immediate evacuation of its citizens from Nigeria.
Naija News reported that the united states Embassy in Nigeria confirmed the development Monday night on its official Twitter handle, @US Mission Nigeria.
“The U.S. Consulate in Lagos has confirmed multiple emergency flights for this week departing from Lagos and Abuja. Please do not come to the airport until we have contacted you directly. Please shelter in place and await further information,” it read.
Meanwhile, Nigerians former Minister of Aviation, Mr, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the recent development via his twitter handle:
“U.S., France, Germany & Israel evacuate citizens from Nigeria?”Let them go! We shall get through this without them. We may not have their resources but we have God. He will never leave us or forsake us. We shall get through this and the name of the Lord shall be glorified.”
