COVID-19: US Government Pulls Out Its Citizens From Nigeria
The United States government has announced the immediate evacuation of its citizens from Nigeria.
Naija News learnt that the united states Embassy in Nigeria confirmed the development Monday night on its official Twitter handle, @US Mission Nigeria.
“The U.S. Consulate in Lagos has confirmed multiple emergency flights for this week departing from Lagos and Abuja. Please do not come to the airport until we have contacted you directly. Please shelter in place and await further information,” it read.

This is happening after Germany, Israel, and France evacuated their nationals following the rising cases of coronavirus disease in the country.
Meanwhile, President Muhammad Buhari has approved the constitution of a new committee to look after the economy amid the global pandemic.
