Breaking: NCDC Confirms 248 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday evening, confirmed 248 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.
This brings the total number of cases in the country to 4399.
According to the breakdown by NCDC according to the states, 81-Lagos, 35-Jigawa, 26-Borno, 26-Kano, 20-Bauchi, 13-FCT, 12-Edo, 10-Sokoto, 7-Zamfara, 4-Kwara, 4-Kebbi, 2-Gombe, 2-Taraba, 2-Ogun, 2-Ekiti, 1-Osun, 1-Bayelsa.
In a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria and continue the task of nation-building, President Muhammadu will be hosting its first virtual Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting on Wednesday.
BREAKING: Wike Lifts Rivers Coronavirus Lockdown
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has announced a two-day relaxation of the lockdown on Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas.
In a state-wide broadcast on Sunday night, Governor Wike stated that the temporary relaxation will on Tuesday 12th May 2020 and Wednesday, 13th May 2020.
