We Will Soon Replace Nwodo, Whose Reign Had Ended Shamelessly – Ohanaeze Ndigbo

The former leader of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Nnia Nwodo, has been described as illegitimate and shameless by the South-East leaders, who also in a recent statement advised the general public to shun any piece of information coming from the former leader.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday, May 12, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, through its President General, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, noted that not far from now it will announce the new replacement for the former leader of the group.

The OYC hinted that another person has been selected to take the place of the ex-president and that its leaders will soon announce the development to the general public.

Speaking about the development, Isiguzoro said, “I can authoritatively inform the general public, that sooner than later, Igbo leaders will present the New President General, the replacement of Nnia Nwodo, whose illegitimate reign had ended shamelessly.”

“There will be a consultative meeting to be summoned by BOT Chairman, thereafter, the new spokesman will unveil the new Exco of Ohanaeze Ndigbo General Assembly.”

He added, “We, thereby, use this medium to inform the general public, especially the press, to disregard any publications emanating from Nwodo and his uninformed publicity secretaries, as such media publications are invalid, as they no longer speak for Ndigbo, but their individual opinions.”

Naija News recalls that the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council has stated that the Northern region of Nigeria does not have solutions for Nigeria’s insecurity crisis.

The group in a statement released through its President, Okechukwu Isiguzoro and the Secretary-General, Okwu Nnabuike, claimed that only the South region can fix the country.
