COVID-19: 10 Members Of A Family Tests Positive In Kaduna – El-Rufai Confirms

A family in Kaduna State has been drastically affected by the Coronavirus disease as ten members of the family have been tested positive of the dreadful virus.

The development was disclosed in a tweet by the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai on Thursday, May 21.

Governor El-Rufai noted in the tweet that eighteen positive cases have been confirmed in the state and ten are members of the same family.

The tweet reads: “Covid-19 UPDATE: 18 new cases were recorded today, 10 of whom are family members of one case. 14 of the new cases are from Kaduna North, two from Zaria and one each from Chikun and Sabon-Gari LGAs.”

Meanwhile, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje-led Kano State Government has discharged 40 health workers after they recovered from the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
