EPL: Manchester City Loses Former Defender, Pardoe
English Premier League club, Manchester City has commiserated with the family of their youngest ever UK born player, Glyn Pardoe, who played for the club as a defender in the early 60s.
Naija News understands that City in a series of tweets on their microblogging site account on Tuesday, May 26 confirmed the death of the player who joined the club at the age of 16.
Man City tweeted, “Everyone at City is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Glyn Pardoe,”
“Our thoughts and condolences go out to his friends and family at this difficult time.”

Pardoe records 380 appearances with Manchester City in the late 1960s, won the league title in 1968, the FA Cup in 1969, and also won League Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1970, Naija News understands.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles and Lille striker, Victor Osimhen, has been offered a private jet by his club to visit his family in Nigeria following the death of his father.
