Edo 2020: We Will Provide Level Playing Field For All Governorship Aspirant – APC
The governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress in Edo state is scheduled to hold on June 22.
The All Progressives Congress has promised to provide a level playing field for all governorship aspirants during the governorship primaries in Edo state.

The spokesperson of the party, Lanre Issa-Onilu, while speaking with Daily Independent on Wednesday, noted that no aspirant should be afraid as the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) will be free and fair in its dealings.
Issa-Onilu called on all governorship aspirants of the party to go and prepare for the primaries as no aspirant would be given preferential treatment.
He said, “We don’t need to give any assurance that we will be fair. We don’t have a choice not to be fair. We have always been fair in our dealings and this is our party”
“As Progressives, we do everything according to the rules. Nobody should entertain any fear. People should rather get ready for the primaries. There is going to be a level playing field for everybody”.
Issa-Onilu on the statement credited to the Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, that the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, should stay away from the primaries of the party, he said Oshiomhole is in the best position to answer the question.
