Fears As Flood Takes Over Many Parts Of Lagos State
The heavy rainfall on the early hour of today had shuts citizens living around the affected areas to their rooms, as the flood took over roads and houses to half.
Residents of Agungi, Lekki, Ibeju-Lekki, Emmanuel Aina street, Aboru, among others in Lagos State have been left in some sort of difficulty following a heavy downpour of rain on Thursday morning.
Naija News understands that heavy rainfall in the early hours of the day had shuts citizens living around the affected areas to their rooms, as the flood took over roads and some houses.
Those who had to go out, battled with the waters that have flooded the streets and residents took to their social media accounts to warn those attempting to go out to remain indoor even as they cried out to the government to take responsibility.
According to reports, the incident has also caused a hike in transportation fees as motorists have increased fares by as much as 50% for some destinations.

Meanwhile, Naija News had reported earlier that two children, a boy, and a girl has been confirmed dead after they were trapped in a building that collapsed on Wednesday in Lagos State.
