Breaking: Governor Rotimi Akeredolu Of Ondo State Tests Positive For COVID-19
Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has tested positive for the COVID-19 infection.
This was disclosed by the Governor himself via a statement on his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday where he disclosed he got the confirmation of a positive result for COVID- 19 on Tuesday morning.
He wrote: “Earlier today, I got confirmation of a positive result for Covid-19. “I am asymptomatic and not displaying any symptoms.
” I am currently self-isolating and supervised home management will be administered by the wonderful team at our Infectious Disease Hospital.
“I ask that we all stay safe and be well.”
The Governor also requested for prayers for a quick recovery as he goes into self-isolation.

Meanwhile, according to the latest results released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday evening, Ondo State has a total of 276 confirmed coronavirus cases.
Of the five hundred and sixty-six new cases of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country as at Monday, Ondo State accounted for 32.
