In a bid to help pupils enjoy their learning process while still at home due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country, the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC has provided parents with an educative material.

Naija News understands that the material was provided to aide the continuous use of social media to educate children at home as a result of the pandemic.

The NCC released a Portable Document Format (PDF), showing how parents could keep their children safe while adopting visual learning until things return to normal.

Meanwhile, Lagos State government has disclosed that it is giving out 10,000 radio sets in a bid to help pupils in remote and underserved communities continue with their academics while still at home.

According to the state commissioner for education, Folasade Adefisayo, who disclosed the development to newsmen in a recent interview, the outbreak of Coronavirus has affected the education system, and hence the need to readjust school terms to meet current realities.
