Buhari Should Act – Nigerians React As Ex-NDDC Boss Accuses Akpabio Of Sexually Harassing Her

Joy Nunieh, former acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on Monday, accused Senator Godswill Akpabio, minister of Niger Delta affairs of attempting to rape her.

Nunieh however added that she slapped the Minister when he made the attempt.

She disclosed during an interview on Arise TV that the incident happened at the minister’s guest house in Abuja.

Nigerians have started reacting to the allegation, taking to the streets of Twitter to make their opinions known about the development.

Some have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to take immediate action and investigate such a grievous allegation against one of his Ministers, while also addressing other serious national issues.

This is not the time to talk about resource control and blame other tribes. This is the time to call on agencies of the Federal Government in charge of anti-corruption to thoroughly investigate the very serious allegations against the NDDC & Akpabio. The Buhari led FG should act!

The audit MUST go on. After the report is submitted, if Akpabio has questions to answer, he will have to answer them. This rabble rousing and claiming that “no audit is going on” is so typical in this country. The purpose is to scuffle the forensic audit. Audit must go on

I actually don’t TRUST that ex NDDC boss, I don’t think she’s credible, although I feel the defence of Akpabio is weak, however, I’ll stand with Akpabio until the woman provides REAL PROOF of her allegations.
